ABOUT ME

I thrive being around people, I like laughing, eating and living comunually. My daughter is 4 and her world is pretty funny!

I am in love with essential oils and the many ways they are healing humans on this planet, it has become my hobby and business. It is nice to put my time and energy towards helping other people use them too.
I'm working in a residential school and also as a yoga teacher, both are great jobs! And being a mother is great too :)

I am inspired to be a dancer. Give me music and my feet will move. I walk confidently in the direction of my dreams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used couchsurfing successfully for many years and hosted a variety of travellers. Now I am in the middle of a transition to a new home for my daughter and I. Hopefully we can host again soon!

Interests

Being continuously excited by new things! Peaceful parenting and holistic education. The earth's medicine - Essential Oils. Connecting groups of people together, networking! Yoga and meditation have become more present in my life which I absolutely love. Cool outfits, cycling, big tress, sandy beaches, losing track of time, fine wine, fermentation, being up high, laughing until it hurts, beautiful souls and the wisdom of others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Playing bagpipes in the Shanghai international music festival, half a million in the audience, a bit scared of stages but this was exhilaration beyond all comparison.

A blissful birthing experience at home, my daughter came into the world in a very special way.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to understand the needs of others, listen well and never judge, be adaptable and don't impose. Cooking for many is my forte, i love big gatherings with many worldly dishes.

I'm learning Dutch now, first language apart from english!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will gladly cook or wash up, i enjoy both! I can prepare you a yummy green smoothie, magical oatmeal for breakfast, chai tea...
An aromatheraphy massage, run you a scented bath, read you a bed time story.
And I will happily show you how to make your own cleaning products, moisturizers, room sprays and more with essential oils!
