Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Handing in my mini-dissertation in public health. Let me tell you, my contribution to the field of public health was by no means 'mini' despite the name. I had to understand a mathematical model - almost like a video game simulation - of the spread of HIV in the South Africa population. In this simulation, HIV spreads through sexual networks. I will tell you more, but the gist of the model was that it was quite complex to understand, well at least for me. I helped my supervisor rupture the assumption of heteronormativity in the spread of HIV. Men could have other men as sexual partners, in addition to or instead of women.
Making my contribution to public health while addressing the HIV infection needs of gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men was incredible.
