About Me
CURRENT MISSION
two motorbikes for exploring the southest part of Latin America
ABOUT ME
Panda, in everyday life, a supervisor on construction sites. I've been a vegetarian for 15 years because I believe that you can live without meat and have clear conscious.
Buba, a yacht captain on seas and oceans and, at the same time, a student at Marine Academy in Poland.
"We have just started a new life, which means that we have quitted our regular jobs to taste something different, something more that standard days-off. We have just crossed the Atlantic Ocean on the sail training ship Fryderyk Chopin, sailed on Caribbean Sea and we are just about to head for the South America - our dream destination. We plan to cross it on motorbikes and we have decided to that that way because we would like to be independent, not to rely on any schedules or expensive hotels. We would like to wake up in the morning, get out of our tent and see the sunrise." (OUR TRIP 12/10/2012-30/07/2013)
We are a couple for a two years. We live in the biggest polish harbour Gdynia and we are both closely connected to everything that's marine.
We sail together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far we have had little experience when it comes to couchsurfing. However, lot of our friends are couchsurfers and we’ve heard lots of good things about that kind of travelling. Our flat in Gdynia is always open to our friends and visitors.
Interests
Panda: As an engineer, I love climbing to the top of a crane and drink coffee there. This is how I spend time at work :) I also enjoy sitting with a glass of good wine on a beach in Gdynia. I'm keen on hitchhiking in Europe, on Caribbean Islands and through the driest deserts in Chiile as well :)
Buba: I am a fan of everything that's connected with water: sailing, swimming, snorkelling and fishing. I also love cooking for everyone because I'm a cook by profession.

Movies: We love âThe Big Blueâ, films made by Tim Barton and Pedro Almodovar.
Books: One Hundred Years of Solitude [Gabriel GarcÃa Márquez], books by Cortazar,
Into The Wild - soundtrack and movie
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
DONE:
My dreams came true and I had a chance to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a Polish vessel Fryderyk Chopin and to spend 4 months on the sea. That’s was an amazing experience thanks to many things such as:
- wonderful wildlife on our way, whales, dolphins, flying fish, fregata birds and pelicans;
- hard work on yards (try to get to sky sail!)
- quitting everything (job and studies) to live on the boat
In the future we would like to sail to Antarctic Ocean and go by motorbikes to Ushuaia.
