About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To get better at connecting with people personally, look deeper at what's around me, and to have a good time.
ABOUT ME
I'm 25 just trying to get around while learning as much as I can from everyone I meet. I love to exchange with people: ideas, things, food, conversation, skills. I've been living in Oregon the past couple of years while traveling here and there. Mostly, I'm just a laid back person who is hard to get down. A little shy at first, but I can talk all day about food, photography, or travel.
PHILOSOPHY
Treat yourself well and treat others better.
People are different - accept that!
Be thankful - it's easy to forget how lucky we are to be here.
I try to live my life as openly as I can. I get in my own way a lot, but for the most part just try to let go of what I know and see things from different perspectives. <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
No official couch surfing done yet through this website, however, I've done a lot of hitch hiking in New Zealand and slept on many couches of strangers in the process. I've found it an excellent way to meet the best people around!

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a reader of all sorts! Dune, Cryptonomicon, The Shipping News, Mycelium Running, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Foundation Series.........
Music! Groundation, Led Zeppelin, Tallest Man on Earth, Blackalicious, AFI, Fat Freddie's Drop, Bjork, Radiohead, Yeasayer, Yes, Dream Theater, Bob Dylan....
Movies of all sorts, typically not blockbusters unless i'm looking to numb my mind. I like quirky movies, enjoy good cinematography and photography, and of course an interesting story.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Just last year I lived in New Zealand. I did everything from hitch hiking, working a full season on a pear orchard, to buying a van and camping all over, and working at a ski resort and got addicted to snowboarding. Amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
My main skill these days is Cooking. I can teach you anything that I know about... which is probably not a ton, but I have several years of experience in kitchens and a healthy appetite for learning new techniques. If you need help with knife skills, basic cooking techniques, how to make a decent soup, and cooking a fantastic steak (or tofu), and also how to cook with whatever you have in your fridge.
