Hello! I'm Kiwi born and Yankee raised, and I love learning about any cultures that I can.

I am currently visiting Scotland, having flown here from New Zealand on February 10. I also animate for the Psych Department at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. While traveling, I figure model for artists and art classes.

I have lived in several countries across the globe and am always ready for another adventure! I love to cook and converse about almost anything imaginable. Anything excites and interests me; I'm a great listener!

I am new to being vegetarian (my wife converted me) and I'm getting good at cooking vegetarian and vegan meals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is a great way to meet people from all over the world. I am new to couch surfing but so far I have had amazing experiences doing it. My wife introduced me to couch surfing and I definitely want to use it as my primary way to travel and meet people while I adventure through multiple cities and countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Indie sounds from Brooklyn NY, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Alternative, Electronic, 14th-c. Spanish music too!

Movies: The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, anything from Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino

Books: LOTR series (again), anything that is dry and historical non-fiction(especially about medieval history); I also love Colleen McCullough's series beginning with "First Man in Rome" and Steven Pressfield's "Gates of Fire"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While teaching in South Korea last year, I turned a student of mine into a math wiz. She disliked math more than any of the other students when I began teaching them, but by the end of the course, she answered math problems faster than anyone else!

I can cook vegan meals for you, help with any art projects, and do heavy lifting. I can also sing for entertainment if anyone wishes!
