About Me
I am a friendly Maori Woman who cares for the environment, loves to host people, cook and read. I am passionate about gardening, sustainability and live an active lifestyle.
During the day Im mostly at work, from 9-5pm, and so wont be able to run you around sight seeing unfortunately, but my house is super close to town, and the public bus runs past every half hour so getting around should be easy as for you.
My house is right by the foot of Mt Ngongotaha where a huge amount of tourist attractions are, including the Luge, Ogo, Quad bikes, Horse treks, Mitai village, Mini Golf. This is all within ten/fifteen minute walk from my house.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet more people by hosting in my home town, Rotorua. In saying that, im not here to cook and clean up after you but im totally into sharing the experience. Its the personal exchange between people that I enjoy. There is an expectation that you will bring your own food, family recipes to share with me. You must be clean and tidy, do the dishes immediately after your meal. In case you missed it, I ask that you do the dishes immediately after every meal and this means washing and drying and packing dishes away in the cupboard. I live a very quiet and private lifestyle and I generally go to bed between 9:30 and 10pm so would expect the same from you. Please ensure that you are quiet and respect privacy too. No late nights on internet thanks. Be prepared to leave my home at 8:30am as I start work at 9am. No sleep ins sorry. Showers are generally no more then 5-7 minutes long as the bathroom and toilet is shared. In addition, I would really appreciate people who are able to sing, dance and read my interests that are written in the profile. Before you send a request to stay, please write in your message 3 things that I expect from you. That way, I know that you have bothered to read the whole profile and are not just looking for free accommodation. You are entering my house but are a part of my life for a short time, I only want positive experiences as I have had a few negative. Unfortunately if you cant speak or read English properly then we are not going to be able to communicate and I feel that it is a waste of energy so please dont apply. I really do prefer older people as I am in my 40s and have found that 20 year olds are messy. If you have made it this far, are over 30 years old, are clean, tidy and friendly, please send me a request to stay. Thank you very much for reading and don't forget to include my expectations. If you don't, I know you have not read my profile and will not accept you staying. I don't accept people who don't have references either. Thanks for reading.
