About Me
ABOUT ME
I'm curious about the world and want to discover more from it. Like talking about hilarious and pointless things. Open-minded and interested in other's opinion. Can be intelligent if I try really hard.
In early 2016 I have been started to travelling and volunteering abroad. I spent 4 months in Portugal and Spain, headed to Iceland for 10 months, interrupted by a 2 month backpacking trip in SE Asia, and later spent 2,5 months in the north of Greece. Now settled in Berlin, in this vibrant and exciting city.
I love the "slow" type of travelling - besides crossing out famous sights from your bucket list, you really get a peak of what is it like to live somewhere, have your favourite spots, meet locals and other travellers who will make your travel much more personal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
On one hand it is a good way to get to know a city/country through different people's eyes what you would never get from travel guide books or internet. And I don't even mean "hidden gems" of a city (altough it's great when you get these kind of insider tips) but just the sense of everyday living somewhere in general. On the second it is always a delight to meet a person who you can talk to hours without knowing them first.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Down, Pantera, TV on the Radio, Thrice... a lot of alternative rock/grunge/metal/punk/world music bands who are unknown to the broader public
Movies - One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest, Awakenings, Once, Intouchables
Books - John Irving, Anne Tyler, Chuck Palahniuk, M.C.Beaton, Carlos Ruiz Zafón, Oliver Sacks, Stephen King (because of storytelling), Fenákel Judit, Szabó Magda...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I don't know if it's amazing or not, but it was a big decision to quit from my "regular" life, quit job, leave friends and family home and start to travelling alone. Probably for the CS community it's not a big deal :)
Teach, Learn, Share
Guitar, arts - drawing and painting, graphic design. I wish I could write that I will cook you Hungarian food but I am a terrible cook. Instead I can teach bad words in Hungarian - hot deal!
Learning - there is so much to learn from different people's stories and life experiences, and all while having fun.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook 1 (one) Hungarian meal!
