About Me
Hi there!
My name is Dmitry (better call me Dima). I'm from a wonderful country named Ukraine, but currently, I live in mother Russia.
When I was a student my family used to host many people that came to my hometown by youth exchange programmes. This is how I've learned English (more or less) and met dozens of friends. Once upon a time, some well-known things happened to Crimea and my hometown and all youth exchange closed. And a bit later I found myself in Turkey for two months.
This is where I understood what it is not to host but to be hosted. Being honest I loved it the same as to host :)
Once again I met many wonderful people and made dozens of friends.
So if you see this profile, this could mean one of two things.
1. I've found pretty large flat to start hosting people again (without help of my parents this time).
2. I've found an opportunity to start yet another wonderful jorney and your help with an accomodation, guiding or friendly talk would be highly appreciated!
Anyway, I'm looking forward to meet you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests
I have a Google Play developer profile where I release some small and stupid (mostly) apps. If you are a fan of littering your Android you are welcome ~> https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=Small+Apps+Inc
Sometimes I write articles for games.mail.ru. This is one of the biggest Russian videogames sites. So if you speak Russian and love Overwatch or post-Soviet tank actions you are welcome to my column ~> https://games.mail.ru/profile/gi2tqmrtga4tkojxha3tqojwgqytknq
I love to learn foreign languages on their elementary level. As well I like to improve my English by reading some random stuff or by meeting new people.
I'm from the town on the seashore. This means I can teach you how to jump in the water as "coldyba" or to learn some sea tricks you have mastered.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music. I used to listen to classics of Russian Emo, but love all the heavy and hardcore stuff!
Books. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to read something with my current lifestyle. So I read technical programming articles and literature mostly. Sure I read most of the classics of Russian and world literature, but nothing secret and notable. But I have the pretty solid background in Ukrainian literature since 1600 ;)
Movies. I guess I've seen everything that has IMDB rate higher than 7.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped dozens of Mediterranean sea turtles by cleaning a beach where they lay their eggs for two months <3 But these animals are not really grateful.
