I warmly welcome you to surf my couch! It's totally OK if you just need a place to crash for a night, need to freshen up or need tips where to go, what to do and what to see around here. We can also hang out, have a dinner, drink beer and wine or do something else if we both feel like it and have the spare time.

As a town Savonlinna hibernites through the wintertime and wakes up for a few months when the summer comes. Both seasons are good for exploring surrounding nature but I'd still recommend visiting during the summer months as it's easier to find activities. During June and July there are a lot of other activities to do as well - not just the nature stuff.

I'm traveling around Finland quite a lot so hopefully I'm around while you arrive to Savonlinna.

I work as an entrepreneur and mostly use my home office to get the job done. My working hours are quite random but flexible.

I like to spend my holidays either in our summer cottage near the eastern border or travel locally and abroad. My freetime consists of going to the gym, travelling, fly fishing, listening to music, reading, watching movies and socializing.

I like to think that I'm an easygoing person and get along well with everybody. Maybe a bit introverted and zoning out from time to time but I really enjoy conversations regardless of the topic. Naturally I'm into travelling as well but haven't been able to go abroad for a few years due to hectic work schedule.

My apartment is 200 meters from Olavinlinna castle and the Riihisaari Culture and Nature Museum. It's in the city center and a walking distance from the railway stop. The location is quite ideal for seeing Savonlinna.

I can offer coffee and tea, a sofa bed for two, two mattresses, sauna, clean sheets and a shower. Maybe we can go lake cruising during summertime or ice skating on a lake when it's winter. I'm not much of a chef but I'll bring the red wine if you want to cook us a dinner :) Maybe we can also hang out, go for beer or make a dinner if we have the time.
