About Me
Hello, dear Couchsurfers!
My name is Natascha and I'm half Thai/half German. I grew up in different cities of Germany and Austria. I love meeting new people and getting to know more about their way of living, about their dreams and challenges. For me, having long and deep conversations with friends or strangers, making music and dancing are wonderful ways of feeling deeply connected with others.
I love traveling to other countries, experiencing a new culture and meeting interesting people on my way.
I like spending time in the nature, taking long walks and admiring the little, beautiful things along the way.
Recently, I have discovered my love for couple dancing, especially Zouk and West Coast Swing. It is a wonderful way of connecting with other people, being in the present and enjoying the music and movements together.
During the last year, I have been living in and traveling through Japan for one year. I was taking care of a little guesthouse and a dog, which was a very interesting, amazing, but also challenging experience. I had the chance to meet so many kind, loving, inspiring and caring people during my time in Japan and I am really thankful for this opportunity.
Currently, I am traveling and visiting family in Thailand and would love to meet some new people through this website. Please feel free to contact me anytime, I'm looking forward to hearing from you :)
Unfortunately, I can't host anyone as I don't have my own place here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the concept of sharing your home with travelers while getting to know amazing people, learning about their culture and lifestyle and eventually, making new friends.
I have had the opportunity to host two amazing girls and it was such a wonderful and enriching experience for me :-) This is a truly wonderful community and I am looking forward to getting to know more couchsurfers.

There are sooo many wonderful movies and series... Just to name a few: 18x2 Beyond Youthful Days, Maid, Den Skyldige, Great Teacher Onitzuka, Scent of a Woman, My Octopus Teacher, The A Word

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once met up with a Korean guy who had contacted me through a language exchange website. At first, we were both shy and I was a little worried how this meet up would develop. We ended up talking for almost three hours, feeling more and more connected, as if we had known each other our whole life and shared our most private stories with each other. We haven't met again since, but I keep it as a wonderful memory.
