About Me

I'm a brazilian young woman living in LA after 2 years in NY. Everybody calls me Lola.
When I graduated from high school, I wasn't sure about what to do with my life, but I always knew that I wanted to travel, meet new people, new places, live the way I wanted to, according to my needs and not somebody else's. So I decided to start as an Au Pair in the USA in 2016. Living with a host family, getting to know their country, their culture etc. Then I decided I wanted to travel, explore, try new things for a little longer than I had first planned. So here I am, in 2019, a traveler.
I love walking around cities and getting to know every hidden place. When it comes to food, I'm a really easy person, I'll eat anything. I'm one of those crazy soccer fans, I'm really into sports. And I truly believe that music has the power of making us feel better.
I'm really into drawing and painting. My mom is an artist, she got it from her dad. I'm always working on some sketches when I have nothing else to do. I enjoy hiking, bike riding and skateboarding.
I love it when people tell me their stories or some facts about the places they’ve been to.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because is a great way to get to know people, and also they can show me around, tell me about their city and its secrets, tell me about their culture, their lives. The best way to get to know some place is with a local. And I can also share my culture with people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into Pop-Punk, Rock, Alternative music. But I'm good with any music genre. t.
About movies, Into the wild is one of my favorites.
I constantly ask people about their favorite books cause I'm always looking for a new one to read.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked Mount Healy beyond where the trail ends in mid-March. Almost died, but it was worth it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a good brazilian, I can always make them our delicious brigadeiro. I can always share my culture with my hosts, tell them about Brazil and brazilian people.
