About Me

I am a young traveller who loves to meet people from different cultures. I am currently finishing a degree in research in international media and I am doing my final year's work on medias specialized in migration. Next year, I'll focus on writing papers and entering the world of journalism on society and international subjects.
I am friendly, very curious and enthusiast but I won't bother you if you wan't peace. :)
I hope that we'll get the chance to meet !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because that is the best way to meet people all around the world.
When I can't travel, travel comes to me by couchsurfing and when I do travel, I love to discover a city with somebody who lives in it !

Interests

I love to listen to jazz, soul and blues music and even more during live concerts. At home, I listen to records and most of my favorite singers and bands are not in this world any more, unfortunately.
I am a big fan of the Beatles, Nina Simone, Van Morrison, Neil Young, The Stones, The Band, Boz Scaggs, Etta James and Aretha Franklin to name a few, but also of Serge Gainsbourg, Elliott Smith, FKJ, Daft Punk, Joao Gilberto, Paolo Conte, Moses Sumney and so many others...
Except music, I play Tennis, Piano and I often play society games with my friends.
However, there is nothing I like more than going for a walk into a new city to do the visits that are recommended to me and after that, just getting lost and exploring the musical areas and alternative places, with or without somebody who lives in the city.
I also enjoy having dinner conversations (or lunch, or breakfast) about politics and life in the new country I am in, it happens sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went to Ecuador, I took buses on buses and ended up in a small village in the amazonian forest, where I was invited by a member of the Ashuar community to share a Chicha bowl (the local drink) and meet all his family. We also talked a lot about their culture as they are kind of separated from the civilization and the rest of the world. Only him spoke spanish. That was an amazing experience.
