I am artist and very curious. I am from Brazil, but I have been living in London for almost seven years. I went to study art there and I end up staying. Nowadays, I am in Finland doing a MA in Visual Culture and Contemporary Art and dreaming together with my partner to set up an ecovillage in Brazil. I am interested in different ways os living and points of view. I love travelling and specially to meet new people. Because I am an artist I am very interested in the local culture and museus.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First I like the idea of receiving people to help them out to travel. I used the Couch surfing three years ago with a friend when we were travelling around Germany. We went to Germany for Documenta in Kasel. We had such a good experience, we met lovely people and it was good to go to local places. We had the chance meet non touristic places and know more about the real life of the local people. It was just an amazing experience. Since then, I always wanted to get back to couch surfing, but most of places that I have been until now, I knew some who already lived their, no need to couch surfing website network. Now, I am very excited to use by myself the Couchserfing and I am finding that it is a very interesting internet platform.

Interests

I love art, specially sculpture, installation and performance art. I am interested in meditation and yoga, I do meditation regularly but yoga just sometimes, I would like to do more yoga. I like to read about psychology and sociology as well. Now a days, I am getting really interested in natural food and growing my own garden.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coming to live in London, I was quite young at the time, so everything was new and challenging. When I went to live two months in India and work for NGO to teach underprivileged children arts and crafts. The last amazing thing, I think it was to organize an exhibition at my home in Brazil, with more then 40 artists with several mediums with the theme "home".
