I'm a French apprentice translator, currently living in Stafford (UK) but looking to move out asap in a new town :)
To be honest, Bristol is my little favourite dream-town ! I visited it twice and fell in love with it !
I like traveling a lot, living in different places and meeting new people. I made friends with people from Spain, Germany, Finland, England and the United States.
I like playing music, doing sports, drawing, going out with friends... ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like travelling a looot and I always look for the cheapest and nicest way to travel and meet people, CouchSurfing had to be perfect for me. It's a way to share with new people and enjoy the trip !
It's also something I used to do when I was still studying in Dijon (France), before knowing the website. I would host new students in town, or travelers looking for a job/place and needing a free-of-charge and friendly place to stay :)

Interests

Music is the one of the most important parts of my life ! I like finding new bands, new styles... And I like playing music too. I have been in a Conservatory for 9 years, studying piano and music theory. Then I learnt the guitar, bass, ukulele and drums on my own ! Bass is my favourite.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am crazy about blues music and music from the 60's and 70's (the older the better !), rock'n'roll, folk, funk, reggae, classical, indie... I like mixed style music, such as traditional indian-slide blues music, beatbox blues, hiphop blues...
I like reading too, though I started doing it far too late !
My favorite authors are Harlan Coben, Edgar Allan Poe, Baudelaire, Jay Mcierney, J.R.R Tolkien, JK Rowling, Gregory David Roberts, Emile Zola, Maupassant, John Steinbeck, Stephen King.
For me, cinema is a passion too. I like every genres, except horror movies in general. Otherwise my favorite directors are Peter Jackson, George Lucas, Wes Anderson, Stanley Kubrick, Pedro Almodovar, Cédric Klapisch, QuentinTarantino... Some series are unavoidable for me : Breaking Bad, Orange is the New Black, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, Hell on Wheels, Californication...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing for me is to play music, which I've done a lot of times already :)
I also took a journey on a whim to Switzerland ! I went to Nyon for a music festival with my cousin, on a tiny car, and it was a beautiful, unexpected journey.
