Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Paolo and I'm a 28 years old Italian guy. I live in Conegliano, a small town in the North-East side of Italy approximately 1 hour from Venice by train. I'm an easygoing, open-minded guy who loves spending time with people and making new experiences.
I didn't have the chance to travel abroad when I was a kid, but my scout life soon taught me how important and enriching for one's life it can be to see new places and meeting new people, discovering differences and similarities between cultures. This is what pushed me to live an Erasmus in Aachen (Germany) when I had the chance to do it, and it changed my life and my perspective of it. Now I'm always craving for a new travel, and that's the main reason why I joined Couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've never had any couchsurfing experience before, but I want to try it because it seems to be the perfect way to do what I love the most: seeing new places, meeting new people and making new friends.
Interests
I LOVE nature: I've been a scout for more than 10 years and I always feel comfortable and in peace with a sky over my head. Needless to say, I love animals too!
I like sports and especially martial arts (Judo has a special place in my heart) as well as hanging around with friends even with nothing special to do, just enjoying each other's company.
I also like cooking, and I'll be happy to do it for/with you.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like many different kinds of MUSIC, and I usually go into cycles in which I discover new things or artists and stick to them for a while, but in the end I always go back to rock music, my favourite since I was a kid.
Likewise, I usually enjoy any kind of MOVIE or TV series.
Speaking of BOOKS I'm more of a Fantasy guy, George R. R Martin, David Gemmel and Robin Hobb being my favourite authors. I don't mind changing subject once in a while though.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent two weeks assisting children in an orphanage in Serbia.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not quite sure what I could teach but I would really like to learn new languages.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My home will be their home, my booze will be their booze! But most of all, I will share with them my time and passions.
