About Me

I am a Cognitive Neuroscience student, with a sheer interest for Science, Philosophy and good TV Series. I love traveling and meeting new people, in particular those who have some passion - I do not really care about what, the most important thing is that they feel alive doing something special. I have had the chance to have been abroad with the Erasmus+ programs three times, that let me first know what it is like to be really in contact with other cultures, even if similar to mine.

I am quite work-oriented, always looking for something new to discover. I love research and I hope to spend all my life in University - no doubts it's the best environment I have experienced, where dreams and projects take place.

I love dancing, but I don't drink - I think it turns out to be really useful to everyone if there is at least one abstemious in the group. I love swimming and playing ping pong, even if I am not that good. I like killing time playing ukulele and chess too, but I am neither Jake Shimabukuro, nor Magnus Carlsen. Still, I have fun. :P

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to meet new people and travel without mortgage my parents' house. I feel excited about knowing about a city story from inside, by a person who lives that place everyday. Living with locals is the only way to really understand what a country is like.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Fabrizio de André and Caparezza.

Movies: Old boy, Seven Samurai and The Dark Knight.

Books: Sapiens, 1984 (Classic, I know) and Watchmen.

TV shows: Bojack, Black Mirror, True Detective, Rick and Morty, Steven Universe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Marocco with some Erasmus friends, we stayed one night in the desert, in a Tuareg camp. We started dancing with them, listening to the drums they were playing, copying movements of a foreign choreography.

Nothing that has changed the world, but something that has changed me. It was one of the happiest moment of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you want to have any discussion about Cognitive Science, I am always in for it. Really, it's just my passion.

I am learning French, so I would like to practice as much as possible. If you want to learn some Italian, I can help you with it - I like talking about old-fashioned Italian music... and I can teach all of the swear-word :P

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help with everyday tasks - I am not really good at cooking, but I love helping! During these years I have acquired quite some experience in dish washing, and I have found that it is quite a valuable resource.
