About Me
I am not in Venice anymore, and don't know how to change it. Now I live in The Hague!

ATTENTION:
I am putting this at the start, and I want this to be extremely clear.
Free travel is fun, no plans, no obligations and so on.
But you are couchsurfing. You are travelling. Basically everything can happen, also bad things. Hosts must help their guests: but this is not an excuse to avoid basic knowledge of the place you are going, culture, or whatsoever. STAY. SAFE. If you have any doubt ask, but stay safe. Keep battery on the phone. Exchange number a bit before your arrival, or keep money inside the mobile card so you can use internet. The world is not wonderland, not always.

I am a composer from Italy, currently Master Student at the Institute of Sonology in The Hague. I would describe myself as cheerful, easygoing, and open-minded. I love to perpetually joke around, but I am also able to maintain a serious conversation.
As a couchsurfer I like to pass time with my host, but I like also to give space and take space for myself. I like to maintain it balanced :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I lived in Venice for 9 years, an extremely touristic city that exposes to a lot of different cultures and to people from all around the world. It felt a natural thing to do, to help all these persons to have good memories in Venice, and to discover ways of thinking so different from mine.
I made a lot of friends along the road, and I am still in contact with a good number of them.
Interests
I read as much as I can (not as much as I want unfortunately!), novels and essays; I am really into music and I love to cook and eat.
I did martial arts for several years and now I am practicing Calisthenics.
Music, Movies, and Books
Composers: Clara Iannotta, Panayotis Kokoras
Books: Sad Tropics, The Web of Life, The Island of the Colourblind, 2666
Teach, Learn, Share
To teach is a possible process only if there is someone eager to learn. And in both of the cases the most powerfull way to do so is sharing. No eternal truths.
So I can share my knowledge about the city, perhaps something about italian cuisine, music, something about art and a lot of thoughts/food for the mind. And a confy couch, of course.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hospitality; openness and energy; good dinners (risotto and tiramisù anyone?)
