About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Be dope and do dope shit.
ABOUT ME
I like to road trip down the coast, but once I've set up camp in the Westfalia I like nothing more than to meander about, read, and have a fire. With this site I hope to meet like minded folk to hike, eat, walk, explore, and stay with in a slew of different, awesome places!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is for living, and that requires more than short term happiness; living life by values and goals that reflect those values. Everyone is enough, so treat yourself like you'd treat a loved one. Carpe diem, carpe nocturnum, the whole shebang. "Do not wait for the final judgment. It takes place every day." Albert Camus.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I work hard and well in and around a house, and will assist in any way feasibly imaginable! I'm easy on where to sleep or inhabit space, and can cook a thank you meal too!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Lots of moving from house to house in my life, but not as much direct "couchsurfing." I love staying with friendly folk, though, and do so as often as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my most recent memories comes to mind, and it also serves a good dual purpose of painting the picture of what amazing sights looks like for me: on the fourth of July, 2014, my dad and I picked up some fireball and fireworks and drove to one of the highest points in the Bighorn Mountains, Black Tooth maybe, and we drove our van into a little valley and set up camp. We walked around the area, enjoying the lupin and indian paint brush, and got into our night time garb. We shot off fireworks under the enormous night sky as mac and cheese, with cajun sparkle, cooked with fat sausages roasting inside cooked over a fire. Semi drunk, the magnificent mac was snarfed down while wolves (okay, maybe coyotes) howled in the distance, and Jeremiah Johnson added his voice to the din. It was a totally amazing night.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about gluten free cooking and baking, and would love to share. I work hard, and know basic skills of home care and repair, which makes a good combo for those who need some help with odds and ends.
