About Me

My real name is Paola, but no one usually tell's me that way, I'm really into nature and camping even though I'm sometimes really scared of bugs.

I would like to think that I'm a very open minded person, but of course that's completely subjective, that's why I like to meet new people with differente points of view. I'm the kind of person that will always say yes to a cup of coffe or tea in company of a really good conversation.
I lived in Germany for a while working as a waitress/bartender in a restaurant. Now I'm back in Mexico working as an English teacher and I must say I love it. At the same time I practice sports like slackline and climbing and of course traveling which is something I am very grateful to be able to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting new people and knowing a little about the culture from other countries.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like many types of music depending on my mood. I like to listen to the kooks, Two doors cinema club, mika, the killers, among others, when it comes to dancing I'm always in the mood for salsa (even though I don't dance so good), when it comes to sing I like english and spanish music, such as maldita vecindad, vetusta morla, zoe, cafe tacva, among others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I had the chance to go to a pagan wedding in Poland. I must say it has been one of my life highlights since I had the chance to meet an opposite culture, very different from mine and yet very amazing.
I felt very grateful because even though I couldn't speak the language and I couldn't communicate entirely with the people, they still made me feel like home and I will always be grateful for that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like sharing a nice dinner, I'm not the best at cooking but I know a couple delicious dishes.
