About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading for what miracles Asia can offer to a traveler

ABOUT ME

I am a person with an optimistic attitude to life, sometimes maybe too optimistic. I like being an old-fashioned guy, going outside rather than typing into the computer. I believe that with the right approach, dreams can come true. It´s been like that up to now.
There are lot of bad things in the world, though.

PHILOSOPHY

fortune favors the prepared, everything happens accidentally and any place in the world is somehow beautiful

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted couple of people and surfed couple of couches. I didn´t expect that it would be difficult to host someone in my town - there are so many couchsurfers that it´s uneasy for my couch to be chosen!!! I am keen on any CS meeting or event, especially outdoors or just a relaxed coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every couchsurfer I have met so far (though admitting that they haven´t been much numerous yet) was an extraordinary person who I will remember for a long time.

Interests

Above anything else I love being outside to listen, see the colours, taste every kind of weather. Sit there for a while, why rush.
Eager to any sport, can´t imagine life without volleyball, hiking and MTB.
I love sharing good music and playing it on the guitar, I love both listening and telling the stories. I prefer chamber atmosphere to crowded places, on the other hand live music is needed.
Every year, I am volunteering as a children leader at a summer camp and I enjoy this part of holidays the most.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don´t watch movies much but those I enjoyed at the time I was watching them more are American beauty, Trainspotting, Fight Club. I can´t help but I think that watching movies is a sort of waste of time for me. The reason is that there is only a handful of movies that don´t fill you up with blood, depression, problems of today´ s society and other stuff. Why to watch it when it surrounds you every day and spreads from anywhere you look.

music Devin Townsend, Tool, Dave Matthews Band, the Wiyos, Noise of Human Art, Anouk, Blur, Audioslave, Moby, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Thom Yorke, Jeff Beck, Movits, and tons of other good music. Electronic with nice broken beat is also nice. I respect every musicianship and I can´t stand silly music that usually spreads from mainstream radio stations.

books 1984, Clockwork Orange, One Flew over the cuckoo´s nest, The Lord of the Flies, The Acid Test, One hudred years of Solitude, Trainspotting. I wish days had more hours so that I could read more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lot of amazing moments can happen even in your own street. Therefore lot of amazing things happens to me. One memory is exceptional in my mind and that was hiking on Vancouver Island for its amazing nature.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you basics on the guitar, cook good soups, juggling. My girlfriend can teach you bake amazing, traditional home-made and the most delicious bread I´ve ever tasted.
I´d like to learn anything, except for playing computer games.
