About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Total no-stress policy

ABOUT ME

A simple person with a never-ending thirst for knowledge. Very interested in exploring new cultures by means of meeting foreign people or visiting foreign countries whenever I can. Methodical, organized, tidy, and extremely social.

PHILOSOPHY

I base my life on logic. While I don't have any religious affiliation or belief, throughout my life I have learned to show respect and consideration for others. Respect and tolerance are my core values.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

By making my place available for occasional couch crashers and by taking a little time off to show them around if anyhow possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Godfather I and II, The Mission, Trainspotting, Snatch, and a few dozens more.
Music: Progressive, New Wave, Post-punk, Alternative, Indie, Experimental.
Books: Mostly ancient literature, some philosophical and sociological readings, and of course, anything that deals with graphic design and technology.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing that has happened to me is my son Ernesto. He seems to enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures as much as his papa.

Teach, Learn, Share

After living a whole life in a city where everyone must be very attentive and cautious of its surroundings, I am sure I could teach people a thing or two about our mentality and culture, as to reduce the possibilities of encountering unwanted situations along the trip. I would like to get to know people who would do the same for me when traveling to other countries. You can read so much Lonely Planet but nothing really beats the first-hand contact offered by local people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russian Federation, Scotland, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United States, Vatican City State, Wales
