ABOUT ME

I am a hiperactive woman, hungry of knowledge and culture, can't stay in a place for longer than a couple of years. However, I love quiteness and peace. I am happy with a book under the sun, or watching a good classic film, or just enjoying a friend's chat. I love art: it can make me cry of happiness. I am the eternal student, never get fed up of learning!

PHILOSOPHY

Buddhism.

As a personal philosophy, I always tried to apply "live and let live". I love making other people happy whenever is in my hands. I believe in true love, in romantic love, in everlasting love... Did I say I believe in love?

Interests

Languages (living and dead, spoken and signed, majoritary and minoritary). Literature: the good one, the real one, the big classics (Baudelaire, Blake, Dostoyevsky, Flauvert...). Music: anything from the 60s to the 90s, specially Bruce Springsteen, Ani DiFranco, Björk, Credence Clearwater Revival, Janis Koplin, Bob Dylan... And classical music, of course! (Love Chopin and Mozart, Dvorák and Bach). Art, beauty, love.

Reading The Lord of the Rings for the second time (first time in the English version!)

I collect Le Petit Prince (Saint-Exupéry) in all the languages I can. I have, so far: French, English, Catalan, Spanish, Galician, Basque, Italian, Portuguese (from Portugal), German, Dutch, Polish, Czeck, Turkish, Croatian, Russian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Maltese, Albanian, Hungarian, Japanese, Slovak, Hebrew, Latin, Serbian and Bosnian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing things I've ever seen is the Milky Way in a clear night when I was in Sapzurro (Colombia, 1996). It was like experiencing infinity. Another one was a red full Moon, bigger and closer than ever, in Sevilla (Spain, 1994). Recently, I saw the rainbow under the Moon: it had been a rainny night in Barcelona, and when the clouds started to vanish, the light reflected by the Moon on the clouds made a nice rainbow on them.
