À propos de moi

I'm a certified geek. I work in digital communications as a programmer analyst at SUNY Polytechnic Institute in Utica/Marcy NY, which I absolutely love. I spend most of my time pursuing half-baked projects that interest me in one way or another. I keep busy with music, web development, gaming, adventuring, and I'm a 100% media junkie. The best way to get an impression of who I am is to just spend a day with me.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I figure I had might as well pay it forward. If I'm ever in need of a place to crash I'd hope somebody would help me out as well.

Centres d'intérêt

Gaming, tech, and other various facets of geek culture. Martial Arts. Music. Cinema. Science Fiction/Horror. Literature. Philosophy. Exploration and new experiences. Really putting myself out there and generally having a great time. ^.^

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

This is pretty expansive. I'm huge into Synthwave and Outrun music right now. I'm that guy that listens to EVERYTHING from bluegrass and celtic to EDM and metal. I'm obsessed with punk rock and my vinyl collection definitely reflects this. I love horror and scifi. Cyberpunk is one of my gotos. Star Trek is life. Star Trek is love. Favorite flicks probably include Alien, Hellraiser, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Conan The Barbarian, Blade Runner, The Thing, and loads more. The list is so expansive it's not even worth getting into. I read a lot (listen rather). I drive constantly so audibooks are a lifesaver. I'm in love with the Hyperion Cantos, Snow Crash, Ready Player One, anything from Douglas Adams, everything Robert E. Howard has ever done, anything H.P. Lovecraft has ever done, Frank Herbert, Neil Gaiman is the man, etc etc. I also touch on a lot of philosophy and I've probably read the Divine Comedy like... a bajillion times. I'm also huge into VR right now. I don't know. There's too much to even touch on.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

There are so many things that have truly taken my breath away that I couldn't even begin to fathom where I would start this list.

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I've got a spare bedroom and a futon in the living room. The bedroom is currently bed-less right now, but I'm more than happy to throw up my personal bed and crash on the futon. I usually pass out there about 50% of the time anyway. :-p

Pays que j'ai visités

Canada, Italy, Japan, Mexico
