ABOUT ME

Hmm, it's the most difficult part.
Someone said that we are what we eat. So I prefer tea to coffee, honey to sugar, pudding to jelly, still water, boiled meat only, yogurt and I love spices.
I tried to be a vegetarian, but I compromised it fast...

I like climbing, trecking. Love sunrises in mountains, sunsets on the roofs, faces of old people, travelling, have a good conversations, try to see the dark side of the moon every night. I respect everyone and I dont give up, even if (together with my friends) can not stop a car for 4 houres during our hitchhiking trip to Balkans!
I always crying watching Breaking the waves and ruin every joke I'm going to tell,
I like smoking, "but I try to reduce inhale, because it gives you cancer"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started this adventure not long ago, and already caught the CS's spirit. I hope to travel in this way as often as is possible and meet Couchsurfers somewhere in Poland too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Allen's comedy, polish directors like Kieslowsky, Holland, Wajda. I silent films with Buster Keaton, old Walt Disney's cartoons, Wes Anderson's, Antonini's, Jarmush's, Coehn's films... I adore Tim Roth and Mad Men
I am open for all kind of music. I like listen to kings of music, let's say, as King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, L.Armstrong, and newest one: pj Harvey, devotchka, elliot smith or jose gonzales, the loners, eric truffaz, eric clapton..., as well. I like etno music from Balkans, India or Turkey, Italian group Alla Bua,turkish guys from Cümbüş Cemaat and some classical works of Gershwin, Grieg or Bach. Polish groups like Hey, Me, myself and I, Republika... many more
Books: above all: Anna Karanina, Ressurection, Outsider, Don Kichote, Confessions of st. Augustine of Hippo, and writers: Mrożek, Miłosz, Tokarczuk. S.Marai, Ibsen, Beckett, Kantor, Gide, Majakovsky...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I've been to India, I survived without any stomach discomforts;);
I washed an elephant; I visited Zurych in the night in January when the temperature of the air was -14C;
I drived myself a rickshaw in Jaipur;
i was almost involved in smuggling of jewellery in India, without my knowledge;
when I was in Turkey, my friend and I, together with our Turkish friend, hitchhiked at dusk... but it probably works only in Turkey;)
I bought the bike and losted it after one hour!
I created the brilliant plan of extermination of pigeons in Wroclaw!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach U a little bit of polish of course and how to drink polish vodka ;)
I would like to learn something new about culture, world, and myself. Get to know something about history of your country; to see the different, non-touristic sites in the city you live; share the music, food, interests, photos, contacts.
