ABOUT ME

I love to travel, see the world, find amazing places, beautiful nature, interesting cities and meet amazing people. I work in a school in an inclusive class and love my job. I'm always seeking new impressions. I love hanging out with friends, laughing, having fun, or talking for hours over beer, wine, tea or coffee. Little moments at first glance that turn out to be the most memorable one's. I'm passionate about music and enjoy good concerts. I love those nights when I lose sleep over listening to music. I'm kinda obsessed with water and could spend hours at the sea, a lake, river, ... I have a soft spot for contrasts. And I love to find the beauty in everyday things.

I surfed with quite a few people in North America. Now I'm excited to start hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good. Very good! I've met so many interesting people through Couchsurfing. I'm amazed.

Music. Concerts. Meeting new people and of course spending time with friends. Traveling. Nature. Water. Thunderstorms. Sunrises. Sunsets. Hiking. Slacklining. Writing. Playing the guitar. Breakfast and Brunch. Sunflowers. Riding motorbikes. Skiing. Kayaking. Hockey (with focus on watching). Reading. Anything amazing that catches my eye, or any other of my senses.

Music: I prefer folk, psychedelic, post- and indie/ alternative rock, such as The Boxer Rebellion, Laura Marling, Dispatch, Black Swan Lane, The Tallest Man on Earth, Radiohead, Fleet Foxes, B.R.M.C., Bob Dylan, This Will Destroy You, Mogwai The Black Angels, Jefferson Airplane, ... Books: The best books I've read so far are "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close" by Jonathan Safran Foer and "The Second Coming" by John Niven and I recommend them to every like-minded person I meet since.
And, of course, Chuck Palahniuk. If you haven't yet, go and read Palahniuk.Movies: Into the Wild, Control, Dead Man, American Beauty, Fight Club.

I traveled across Canada for one year, met a lot of great people and gained so many experiences, which was more than amazing.

And the world is full of good people, and that amazes me over and over again.
