About Me

My partner Derek (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/derekeller) and I have recently returned from living a couple of years in Italy and are settling back into living in the US in Chicago.

A little bit about me I am an Urban Farmer growing food in South Chicago. My main projects have been growing and distributing produce and teaching people out to grow so for their own sustainability. I have always approached my work with a restorative holistic lens, but I am interested in expanding my knowledge and attaining a multicultural perspective on ways to address issues involving our global food system.

I'm also a curious person, who loves to adventure, explore and meet people.

I fill my time with active hobbies and I really enjoy spending time in nature and with friends. I am absolutely fascinated with this world we live in and I sometimes feel like I live in this childlike wonderment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on CS, in hopes to connect with people, break barriers, learn something new and explore new places, while also helping other people explore new places.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach about plants, and I'd like to help you to grow things.

I love sharing meals with people. Also really enjoy playing games and exchanging stories.

There are so many things in this world I'd like to know. Im rather curious about other peoples perspective and the world in general. I feel like humanity has a lot that it can learn from one another.

I am very interested in learning other languages..
