我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, experiencing new cultures and finding new things to talk about or write about. During my 3 year stay in Chennai, I figured hosting random travellers and like minded free souls to be the best way to achieve that, be it through couchsurfing or through personal networks.

But that has changed since I moved to Mumbai. While I am figuring out the new city -- socially and economically-- I needed to take a break from being an active Couchsurfing host.

Especially after a not so pleasant encounter I had while hosting guests in the city.

But the traveller and story teller in me couldn't give it up for real, so trying to get back in the game slowly.

For now I am helping out travelers by giving out my place through Airbnb. I know fully well that money doesn't give a huge security, but it's just a step before I figure out how to go about it in Mumbai.

Nevertheless, dont shy away from reaching out to me. Whether you couchsurf at my place, or book my place through airbnb, or neither, I always enjoy a nice engaging chat with someone new.
