About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To run after that memorable moment.

ABOUT ME

I've been living a pretty eclectic life, which has kept me passionate about making new experiences and encounters. I've done many odd jobs from picking cherries in the west of Canada to guiding tours to North Korea, passing by bartending in southern china.

Currently, I'm working my dreamjob working as a tour guide to off the beaten path destinations around the world. I bring people to North Korea, Eritrea, Somaliland, Iran, Iraq, Papua New Guinea. I love the happiness travellers get when they meet each other and creating bridges between people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My roommate and my ex-girlfriend had CS accounts and invited some couchsurfers, always loved the experience. Keep 'em coming

I love couchsurfing while travelling because instead of staying in boring hotels, I learn so much more about the culture of the place, it's realities but also end up with valuable friendships in every places I've been. I'd choose a small couch over a free night at the Hilton every day of the year

Interests

I like movies, reading, philosophy, arts, a good night out and a laugh.

I am an avid traveller and my biggest project is to visit every country/territory in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Les Miserables ( either the musical and the books), comics (Alan moore, Jonathan Hickman, Robert Kirkman) and history books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited all 34 provinces in China. I speak mandarin fluently and can understand shanghainese and cantonese roughly. My russian is trans-siberian train proof and I sat a few metres away from Marshall Kim Jong Un at the Mass Games in Pyongyang.

I've worked as a tour guide in North Korea and as a barman in a village of southern China
