Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I cant host people in my own house, but in October 2007 I've guided my first CSers around Amsterdam. I really enjoyed showing these people what they want to see (however the red light district is getting a bit weary :). Via email I've tried to help people get settled in Amsterdam.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive CSed my way thru the US in may-july 2007 with two mates. The whole concept is just wonderful and I can't think of any other way to travel anymore. CSing gives you the warm feeling of coming home, instead of checking in at a hotel or staying amongst other travellers in a busy hostel.
The locals we've stayed with have been totally awesome and so generous and hospitable. It renewed faith in humanity to see there's still loads of good people around!
Lets keep CS safe and free from people who do not understand the essence of CS!
