About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Leave this world in better than I found it-one action at a time

ABOUT ME

Me in a nutshell: Creative, enthusiast, open-minded and determined guy. I like action and am always eager to experience new stuff. I am respectful of others and expect the same. I feel I discover a part of myself in every person I meet. It's great to be in that ever continuing journey of discoveries!

PHILOSOPHY

Passion is what drives this world. I want to experience it fully.

Time is just an illusion.

I believe people are wonderful, it's just a matter of giving them the opportunity to develop, use and share their immense potential.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first time CouchSurfing was in Mumbai, and it was simply amazing. I met fabulous people this way and I can't wait to continue meeting people this way. I now live in the Canadian Arctic and would love to host here. A trip to Turkey is also in the works for me so I'm excited to meet locals :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend has been involved with CS for a while ad has had met wonderful people being a host in Montréal, Canada. They had outstanding cultural experiences and great chats she had with her guests sparked my interest into CouchSurfing. Looking to welcome people on my couch when I get my new appartment next year!

Interests

Into hot yoga, hiking, kayaking, karate, Jack Johnson, journalism, traveling, humanitarian projects and languages, extended coffees and re-thinking the world over a glass of wine. I'm interested in politics, economics, urban studies and philosophy.

Books: The Kite Runner, Shantaram, A Fine Balance (I've finally recovered from that read haha!), The Rational Optimist

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydive for my 18th birthday, rockclimb in Squamish, see Madonna in Montréal, hotsprings in Tofino, meet people form so many different countries at the University of British Columbia, visited McLeod Ganj in India, living by the ocean in Vancouver.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love languages. I am always up to teach friends some English or French. I took Spanish for a little while, but pursuing Hindi actively at the moment. Maybe we can share a bit of language knowledge?

One of my belief is that people very often teach us things without noticing it. I think CS is a great opportunity to let that happen naturally.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bangladesh, Belgium, India, Italy, Myanmar, Nepal, Russian Federation, Scotland, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, India
