Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To Breathe, and to travel the Synchronicity Highway and Serendipity Road
ABOUT ME
I like to make music, both playing it and writing it. I intend to take a recorder whistle with me on my journey(s).
PHILOSOPHY
Actually... I want to do some travelling out into the wilderness to find some answers before I really espouse a personal philosophy. I do agree with... that guy who said... "Man is born free, and everywhere he is in chains." I want to unshackle myself, at least for a while. I empathize with Socrates a lot... although Socrates is not that guy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted a dozen or so couch surfers so far.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've haven't couch surfed yet, although I did hitchhike from Savannah to Atlanta in 24 hours once, and in May 2009, I went about 80 miles in 4 1/2 days on foot from one side of Atlanta to the other. I've also camped out in below freezing weather on the Appalachian Trail in Georgia, and I didn't freeze to death, but that was thanks to the savvy of the friends I went with.

The Rules of the Road (as far as I can Tell)
#1 Water, Water, Water, Water, Water.
#2 WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER, WATER!
#3 Wear comfortable footware.
#4 Wear comfortable underware. (and now for the Latin joke: Semper ubi sub ubi.)
#5 Don't rush, but if you must rush, make haste slowly.
#6 Be out of sight by night fall, especially in cities.
#7 Don't thumb near prisons, in fact it's better to stay away from them all togther.
