ABOUT ME

Hey there we are a married couple. Jeff is 30 years old and I am 27.
We enjoy our lives and we also really love to travel and meet new people and cultures.
We both are born and raised in Paraguay (South America) but have a german backround and went to the same german private school in Paraguay :)
Over 6 years ago we decided to get married and move to Canada. We really like this country and like to share our expirience we made here with others.
Since our families are all in Paraguay we are planning to move back in the next 2 years.

I've a passion for animals and nature and I love to exercise or to go for long walks.
Jeff is a passionate golfer and in the summer he loves to golf in his spare time.
We also love to entertain people and make BBQ's outside in the summer on our patio.

We are very uncomplicated, spontaneous and open-minded people.

PHILOSOPHY

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had some couchsurfers over for overnight and really loved having people in the house.
We also have family and friends from Paraguay our Germany over every summer, so we consider ourselfes as expirienced hosts :)
It never gets boring @ our place.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

We love all kinds of music.
Jeff is more into movies than I am. I always say I watched so many movies in my life now I don't really care about movies anymore :P
Jeff doesn't like to read unless it's a Golf Magazine haha.
I love educational books and magazines but I also like to read biographies and medical books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too much to write it all down haha
But one of the most amazing things we have done is getting married and move into a different county and adapt to a different lifestyle and culture.

Teach, Learn, Share

I was a Aupair in Germany for a year and can share my expirience I made travelling in Europe. I also like to sahre pictures and stories about Paraguay and our travels.
We also like to share our expirience living in Canada and show you around the area.

And if you want to fresh up your german or spanish I'm willing to help you with that.

My husband Jeff loves to play Golf and could teach you how to play it (and yes he is obsessed with Golf)he also loves to make really good BBQ and if he has time he might make you some :)

also if we have time and you are interested we are more than willing to show you around the beautiful Niagara Region.
