ABOUT ME

I'm a poet and (sometime) essayist with eight books of poetry published. I love art, live music, bookstores, looking for vintage treasures, and general exploring wherever I happen to be. I've learned how to travel on a microbudget, and I'm always grateful when someone opens their home to me.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I have a limited budget to work with, and I like to explore whatever city I might be traveling to, and I love to meet people who live there and learn from their experiences. Couchsurfing seems an ideal way to do this, and I'd like to do it more. I'm excited to see what my couchsurfing adventures might hold! I am looking for more of a connection with a host than I have experienced with Airbnb.

I'm passionate about film, books, music, art, and I can easily lose myself in a novel , museum, or a darkened movie theater. I love discovering new (to me) coffee shops, and exploring things off the beaten path. Live music recharges me and I've been fortunate to see some of my favorite acts multiple times. I bring all of these things to my work as a writer; not necessarily inspiration...more a sense of feeling and emotion. Sensation.
