ABOUT ME

I am Junghye from Korea.
Here is tip to pronounce my name proper
Jungle - (no gle) Jung and hey! - easy?!

I love travel - of course everybody does here in CS are :) one of my dream was living in a different country and move to another for every two years.

worked in an INGO until 2009, and now I am doing oversea volunteer program in Cambodia for the same organization, based in Phnom Penh.

I came here last march and OMG it's been one year already. I am going back to Korea soon, but I will be back on travelling again with one of my friend from 22nd of March - start from Kuala lumpur - Lao - Thai - Burma - India - Nepal and tried to all the way up to Egypt - but you know what happen there :( so I might need to change my root. Now I am thinking either Greece or Spain. Time doesn't matter, but money does! :)

I have been in States for 6month as exchange student, and in China, Wuhan for a month for international program at Wuhan Univ. Did backpacking in Europe for a month, and been quite few times in Japan, China - yes we are close :)

Tried to travel at least once in a year. and luckly now I am staying in middle of south-east asia really easy to cross border so, I went up to Vietnam and Thai as well.

I am a energetic, and positive person! love music and cook - I am a good cook according to my friends! and love to meet new people, and know your world.

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness that you can bring to other people.

Strangers you don't know. maybe a small girl in a small village, maybe in Cambodia, when she gets an apple, and she would say thank you, then in that moment you don't know who you should thank. This is unknown girl, I don't know her name but if she can be happy by what we do. I will do, and we will do our best.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

One of good friend of mine, introduced this amazing website to me! and I really liked it. It's really hard to share couch in Korea - since we - Koreans are mostly living with our parents! But now I currently living in Cambodia by myself, so I started participating!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since my couch is not comfortable, So I hosted once and now I changed my status as coffee or drinks. And now I am waiting one of the surfer coming to meet me. I have been here in Cambodia almost one year, so I also replied few times regarding some queries about trip in Cambodia - like transportation and where to visit or place to eat - ya You can call me Miss Phnom Penh lol!!! Hope I get my own place in Korea, then I can start hosting again!
