ABOUT ME

I am Scottish born and raised but have a Chinese ethnicity. My parents were born in South America and have a Caribbean accent. So I guess you could say we have an unusual background. I'm living and working in Guangzhou at the moment, I manage an English School here.

I'm a pretty easy going guy, I love traveling and intelligent conversation. I enjoy meeting new people and am always pleasantly surprised by the amount of cultures and people that come together and make up Guangzhou.

PHILOSOPHY

I dunno, something about the pursuit of happiness I guess, with a bit of trial and error thrown in there.

Intereses

I love music, I play the guitar and my ipod never leaves my side. I organize a badminton club in Guangzhou. I like settling in for good movies and books. Am trying to get more into photography without seeming lame.

Freakonomics, Radiohead, The Editors, Biffy Clyro, Be Kind Rewind, The Dark Knight, The Solitaire Mystery, Donnie Darko, The Godfather, Pearl Jam to name but a few. Depends what mood I'm in, horror, comedy or Sci-Fi movies mostly. For books I like philosophical works or some wry commentary about life.
