I'm a really peppy Afro-Caribbean British girl out to see the world :D I love travelling, but I'm constantly broke so it doesn't happen quite as often as I would like :P But I love meeting new people and having new experiences!

I've couchsurfed in Seoul, Nagoya and Tokyo, and have hosted people from America, Poland and Taiwan :3

Music, Movies, and Books

Anime, Comic book movies (stoked for Iron Man 3!!!), anything action packed (not a fan of romcoms, usually). Musicwise, it varies from K-pop to RnB to African Music to indie rock (Brown Eyed Girls, Big Bang, 2ne1, Primary and The Messengers, Perfume, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Beyonce, Iyanya, David Guetta, Chromeo Two door Cinema Club, Friendly Fires, Foster The People, Animal Collective, The xx... to name a few!)
The list of books i've read is ridiculously long, but I'd say my fave authors are JK Rowling, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Garth Nix, Jodi Picoult and Chimamanda Adichie. I tend to read more sci-fi than reality, so let's trade books sometime!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was about 5 or 6, I met Nelson Mandela. I should be more awestruck, but I was so small that all I remember is him offering me orange juice and my mother crying with happiness!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to knit, bake, sew, cook, speak English/basic French/basic Spanish and do entertaining accents xD
