HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a relative newbie, I've not participated much, but I love the idea of the CS project. When I finish travelling and have a place of my own, I fully intend to open it up to the CS world. Until then, I shall be more of a guest than a host, I'm afraid...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to global couch surfing, but have spent many a night on the sofas/spare beds of friends and relatives!

兴趣

I'm primarily a people person. I find people, and pretty much everything to do with people, fascinating. This extends to almost everything then: language, psychology, politics, music, religion, biology, history, geography, society... the list goes on and on.

I like movies that make you think, or at least provide some kind of entertainment: I hate the feeling when you've spent 2 hours (and maybe some cash) watching something that leaves you thinking that your life is in no way better for watching it. Having said that, a bit of mindless entertainment is fun too.

Music: While I have a few favourites, I'm quite open to most music, with a few notable exceptions.

Books: I have recently started trying to read more. I tend to read non-fiction, but again, I'm making an effort to change this. Recently read 'God of Small Things' by Arundati Roy, and really liked it.
