I am a young Archaeologist, married to the most amazing woman in the world and I love to travel and am fascinated by the past.

Lots of beat literature-Jack Kerouac, Ken Kesey. Some Aldous Huxley (especially Island) never hurt as well as a bit of John Irving and Hunter S Thompson. Music: Local South African Zulu Jazz commonly known as Maskande is very very Irie* Enjoy Bob Marley (who does'nt) Jack Johnson, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, some trance music is kool too! Movies: Wes Anderson is great!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I have worked on excavations in rock shelters on the Kwazulu Natal coast of South Africa, unearthing the remnants of habitation dating to 120 000 years ago (done this lots of times!). I helped to establish the first archaeology department in Malawi, which is now running a full-time degree program in Anthropology/Archaeology and is helping to train young indigenous African archaeologists. I got married, that was fun.

I would love to teach people about the prehistory of Africa and in particular Southern Africa. I can also be of great help when it comes to cultural info on S.A and Africa!
