Overview
About Me
I'm currently an au pair in a small town about 20 minutes outside of Geneva. I'm using this mock-mom year to travel, learn French, and hike as many mountains as possible.
I'm a fairly mellow traveller, love to sight-see and walk around. Love a good pub. Really love food.
As for Hosting--
I wish it were my house so I could share it... but currently unable to host since my host parents aren't down. But in the future (wherever that is), will definitely welcome all travelers!

Music, Movies, and Books
Good books I've read recently: My Struggle (Karl Knasgard); All the Light We Cannot See (Anthony Doerr); On Violence (Hannah Arendt)
And if you like poetry, I've got loads of recommendations!
Teach, Learn, Share
I studied something called Queer Theory at Oberlin College. Queer theory is many things (lol that's why it's called "queer), but it is generally defined as a critique of feminism. Which is to say that it's a more progressive, looser brand of feminism, a more inclusive stance of gender / sex politics. I love it, and would love to talk about it with anyone who would interested!
Otherwise, I know an odd amount about bowling, softball, poetry, and nutrition...
What I Can Share with Hosts
