Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I strongly believe that the best way to get to know a place is to live like the locals, and you simply don't get that with extravagant hotels. Couchsurfing is a great way to experience a place how others do and to meet likeminded people in a familiar setting, with you you can hopefully build a friendship and open your home to them if they're in your city.
