ABOUT ME

I'm easy going, understanding, dramatic (in a good way definitely!) and crazy at times. I'm constantly trying to make memories along the way. I love the feeling of having intersting things to talk about when I'm older. I believe that nice and beautiful things in life are meant to be shared. That's why having someone to travel with or share your experiences with is a grand passion of mine.

I've been trying to learn to play the guitar for the longest time but to great disappointment. (For those who can play, stop laughing at me! LOL!) Somehow, the dream of being a rock star got lost along the way...

Sometimes, I feel like I'm the last 'young' person left who still loves doing things like visiting flee markets, fruit markets, flipping through old records, get lost strolling in the park, sit and enjoy the laughter of the children in the park and other 'old people' activities.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not always about climbing the social ladder and earning more money than your neighbours. You gotta take time out to smell the roses.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard some cool stories about CS from my friend and at first I laughed it off. Then some time later I read about it in a local paper. And I forgot all about it. One day CS came into my mind and here I am... :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember the first time I hosted someone, I was feeling all jittery waiting for him to arrive at my house asking myself what the hell was I doing...But we had a blast and I never look back since...Almost all the surfers that I hosted are awesome people and so many stories and experiences to share...

Interests

I cannot resist sitting quietly in a nice cosy cafe, drinking tea and watching the world go by.

I love meeting people from all over the world as I believe that every one of us have our own intersting stories to share.

If you ever have a chance to go adventure-hunting with me, make sure I don't see any fruit trees. I'll go crazy with joy and it'll be an almost impossible job to bring me home. I might even demand that we climb to the top! LOL!

In short, I'm working towards on being a successful adventuress.

Music, Movies, and Books

I craze over films, I adore films, I worship films and one day, I want to make my own films.

Jazz feeds my romantic soul, blues makes my head swirls and big band moves my feet.

I know life isn't always a bed of roses and things don't always end 'happily ever after'. So I like books with 'happier' endings. The world seems like a better place when the girl falls in love with the boy and they lived happily ever after no? ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen the most beautiful rainbows, ate the best chicken and apricot sandwhich, met with the friendliest people yet while I was backpacking in NZ.
I bought an air ticket one day to Canada on impulse and keeping it a secret till 2 weeks before the trip. haha...
And I've seen the prettiest eyes ever on 28 June 08 :)
