About Me
Whadup party people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe wanderlust is too pretentious and trendy as a concept. People have been traveling for centuries but seldom have they been so proud of their it.
I travel when I get time. Meeting all sorts of crazy people is addictive and that's why I am here.
More often than not accommodation charges is what discourages one from traveling. Having seen how travelling and meeting different people has affected my life, i am keen on continuing it. Renting a shady lodge or staying in 4 walls all by yourself isn't my definition of travelling and thus, am keen on hosting and meeting fellow travellers.
Interests
Rather politically-conscious - don't mind getting into heated debates but try my best avoiding them. I have had my share of trying to talk to right-leaning individuals but long done with it. Being called a 'fucking commie' is the praise of the highest order for me.
Environmentally conscious as well, have volunteered for Greenpeace for quite some time.
Transitioning from environment, I have a new-found passion in human rights and have been working/studying on this theme for some time now.
Taking into consideration my interest in travelling and environment, I often go on cycling trips- be them month-long tours or overnight ones.
Sports, there's that as well.
Camping is fun.
More of a bar person, less of a nightclub person.

Music, Movies, and Books
Post-rock, indie-pop, classical instrumental is my kind of shiz
As for movies, well, that is a Pandora's box.
As for books, P.G. Wodehouse beats anything else.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
People say the one amazing thing I have done is being able to grace humanity with my presence.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am person of bare minimum requirements - quite believe in the Gandhian philosophy of 'self-induced poverty'. So in terms of materialistic aspects, I do not high expectations. As for sharing with hosts, all I can offer are my ears and my experiences. I prefer listening to people than talking about myself. However, when the opportunity affords, a drink or two are on me!
