About Me

I love entrepreneurship. My first company tanked, but I feel like I earned an MBA from it. Currently, I own a gourmet food business with my parents/business partners (www.OSAgourmet.com).

I served eight years in the military. It paid for school and gave my great organizational skills (downside: I'm way more OCD now).

Travel is vital to me. I've been to 4 continents and want to visit all 7 one day. International exposure is important to keep an open mind.

I'm a foodie, but I don't buy into the whole "non-GMO" and "gluten-free" craze. Flavor is most important to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds to expand my worldview.

Interests

Speaking in Spanish is one of my favorite things to do. Maintaining the ability to speak in another language is very difficult, and so I seek every opportunity to speak Spanish when possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read books on entrepreneurship and self-improvement. Biographies of entrepreneurs also intrigue me. The book that changed my life the most so far: The Defining Decade by Meg Jay.

As for movies, I love stupid comedies (Happy Gilmore-type) and action flicks (Jason Statham rocks!).

I listen to just about all kinds of music, but I enjoy intellectual rap and classical music (Bach is a badass)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Self-taught advanced proficiency in Spanish; spent a month in Ecuador: took language classes, learned to surf, and did acupuncture for the first time (funny story - the same guy who taught me to surf also did the acupuncture)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish and how to cook, as well as how to organize and build systems for getting things done.

Learning something new everyday is my philosophy.

Please share your perspective with me. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy cooking, and I'm quite OCD about keeping things clean and orderly. I don't mind doing dishes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, Germany, Philippines
