About Me

Mmmm....how to describe myself? I feel that my friends could do this better than me....but I will give it a shot. First things first, my spirit animal is a golden retriever so that might give you some perspective of who I am.
2) I have energy, (as long as I have food), than you will see me either bicycling, running or dancing. It's not just sports that interest me, it's movement that grabs my attention and I love to move.
3) I like people, in fact, I love people. I remember a trip, an adventure or journey, not by what i saw, but by the people I met. " it's not where you go, but the people that you are with that you remember." The experience of seeing the world is seeing the people and thus I am very gregarious and talkative.
4) i have a wide range of hobbies, but if I was to describe an ideal day, it would be waking up, seizing the day, climbing a mountain and jumping into a lake after to cool off in the afternoon and then at night sitting around the campfire drinking a deliciously dark beer and having an intellectually stimulating conversation with close friends.
5) I am flexible and spontaneous meaning it does not matter what I am doing as long as there are positive people around with good intentions.
6) here is what I don't like: shopping, rain, swimming in freezing water (why do people like that), roller coasters, staying in a house with no art, heights, and doing anything that involves me upside down....oh and also t.v.
7) here is what I enjoy doing: art, running, camping, bicycling, making delicious pot lucks (dinner), listening to music (fun music), dancing, ganja, yoga and of course sitting in the sun.
8) my flaws in developing as in independent individual in this life are include: A) that I am not blunt and do not like to argue, which can be a problem with some people. B) I am stubborn and can take awhile to change my viewpoint or lifestyle. C) I do not have patience, I am trying to change this for I know it's a bad habit, but this is my biggest flaw for sure.
9) strengths are difficult to talk about because I feel like i am just being a pretentious asshole, but as my best friend would describe me as...a goal-oriented, optimistic and happy puppy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing to meet people that I can connect with while traveling around the world. I want to experience the couch surfing environment in its entirety and that means meeting, trusting and relating to people in a different context than I have before.

Interests

I am a runner and love trail running through jungles, over streams and up mountains. Occasionally, I dabble in some mountain or road biking, but any activity that isn't ridiculously dangerous I am usually down to do as long as it's outside. I also, enjoy reading, writing in my journal, yoga and cooking dank delicious meals.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked books written in a foreign language. Do not look for answers, they cannot be given to you...because you have not lived them yet. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, some day for in the future, you will gradually , without even noticing it, live yourself into an answer."
- Maria Rilkes

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very flexible and just up for the couch surfing experience. And on a side note, I majored in Exercise Science in college so if you have any aches or pains I can give you some insight and recommendations on how to fix whatever ailment you have.
