I got the travel bug the first time I went to Spain four or five years back and now I'm living here for the year getting some European exploration under my belt! I absolutely love hiking, photography, beer, coffee and getting to know people. I like to think that I'm really friendly, outgoing and easy to get along with. I really want to get to know people in different parts of the world and see what they find special about where they're from! My references are low because I'm justing now getting the opportunity to use the app for the first time since I haven't travelled much besides this past year and when I was younger

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm still a college student and I really need to make my money go as far as possible. At the same time, CouchSurfing is like a more intimate version of a hostel where you really get to know your host/guest and I love that sort of connection that happens between a traveler on the road and traveler at home willing to demonstrate what their town/city/country has to offer.

Interests

In my free time I do a lot of hiking and camping. I really enjoy traveling, reading, drinking coffee and tea, trying new foods/new restaurants. I play a little bit of guitar, soccer and ultimate frisbee and I speak Spanish conversationally but my vocab is lacking. One of my friends and I brew beer at home so I love trying beer and viewpoints are some of my favorite places in the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my travels I really like to get up early at least one day when everyone else is sleeping so I can go take photos during golden hour. I spent 3 hours standing in Piazza di Duomo in Milan taking photos while reading, drinking coffee and just enjoying the quiet of central Milan at 6 in the morning

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd be happy to teach you the very minor amount of guitar I know or a little bit of Spanish. I really love hearing travel stories and hearing about what makes people smile or makes them feel happy. Sharing intimate moments with people about what we find special is really cool I think.

I'd be more than happy to buy your dinner, lunch or whatever you like if you're willing to host me. Also if part my stay means I help around the house with chores or whatever it is you need please ask.
