ABOUT ME

I'd say I'm a decently easy going guy. I really love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I make friends pretty easily and I like to keep friendship kindled for a long time. My life's goal is to learn to enjoy it to the fullest. I like hiking, camping, talking, and basically anything that has to do with learning about people.

PHILOSOPHY

The realm of no-mind is the most peaceful and sustainable outlook on the present moment. I work to stay in this state of presence as to better the world in the best way I know how.

Hahaha wrote ^^^^ that awhile ago. I try to be present, and find my mind knotting me back into suffering... So I patiently begin to untie the knot.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host surfers when I am able to. Being a graduate student, this is less often than I would like but I still get to enjoy the company of surfers on a fairly regular basis.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfed in Thailand and have been hosting people in Portland, OR and now in Santa Cruz, CA.

Jose Gonzalez, The Reclining Buddha, an amber sunset shrouded by mist and reached for by the grass beneath my bare feet (sounds like nonsense, I know, but ask me about it and I'll tell you the experience).

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I'm well versed in all sorts of chemistry (although my emphasis is Organic Chemistry).

I am decent with electronics and know how to aftermarket modify many things.

I consider myself a independent music enthusiast so if you want a good mix made I'm your man!

Currently undertaking a self teaching exercise in math and will be taking courses in physics (i.e. more explicitly photonics)
