Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and enjoy Southern Mexico, while formulating my plans for a future food forest!
ABOUT ME
Traveling through Central America and Mexico using friends, WWOOF and CS. Right now I'm working on an organic farm in the Yucatan Peninsula, and becoming extremely excited about permaculture, specifically food forests! I also like discussing politics, history, good food, anything to do with plants, and pondering the future of humanity. I'm always down for deep conversation.
PHILOSOPHY
There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is.
The harder you work the luckier you get.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Meeting wonderful people that are willing to tell me about or show me some of their town, and trying to give something back. It's great when you can meet people you share something with, as well as people that challenge your ideas and preconceptions.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just started couchsurfing but already met some awesome people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Camping on top of Vulcan Santa Maria outside of Quetzaltenango in Guatemala. The view, the energy, and the sacrifice all made it a spectacular adventure. I've never watched the sunrise from above the clouds and seen the shadow of the mountain you're on be mistaken for another mountain on the horizon.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach or Share: what I've learned about food forests, an interest in utilizing the plants around us, a few good jokes.
Learn: improving my spanish, anything about history, fun facts or interesting information, how to cook anything you like (preferably without wheat or milk, due to allergies), natural medicine, sustainable living, pretty much anything you're passionate about.
