We are a couple (married on April Fool's Day) who are interested in all things scientific and personal. Valkyrie holds a PhD in 3D printing video game controllers, and Evan works in Quantified Self and data visualization. We have lived many places both in the US/Canada and overseas. We have ridden our bicycles 12,000km around Europe from Copenhagen to Istanbul via Lisbon, spent several months wandering around Southeast Asia, and doubled up on a Vespa from San Francisco to Toronto. We also try to do smaller trips when we find time in between playing jugger and plotting for our small business.

Surfing, hosting, we do it all. :) We're excited to get settled into a new place where our roommates are friendly to it... it's been a while since we've been able to host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We biked 12,186 km around Europe from Copenhagen to Portugal to Istanbul during a gap year after college. We learned about people, made up languages, developed killer calf muscles, and had a hell of a time.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can write games and websites and do interesting math problems, but we can also build tables, bookshelves, and wind chimes, create costumes and stuffed animals, garden, cook, beatbox, and ballroom dance.
