My mission is to be happy and use my creativity to unlock creativity in others.

ABOUT ME
I have been living in Malaga Spain for nearly five years teaching English. I'm interested in matters social, political, economic and spiritual and I'm involved in conscious communities doing what I like to call social alchemy.

I love a good story well told whether that is in a classic novel, movie or theater. I love music and dancing. I can dance much better than I play the guitar; I can read much better than I write.

I am curious and love to talk. Other curious people are the best company. I love travelling and finding out about people and places, oh and food. I love good food and can usually rustle up something with a few ingredients.

I have a very diverse set of friends from many cultures and backgrounds. I am easy going and get on with most people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The first time I ever did couch surfing has been this trip to Costa Rica. It is part of my research on conscious communities. I'm happy to be travelling with 2 very good friends I met in the World Summit project and who have the same life philosophy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Our first guest has been the best: Luis in San Jose. We shared food, had great exchanges and visited local sights. May there be many more like Luis!

Interests

Well we won't be short of subjects to talk about as I'm interested in anything that impacts society as a whole and the individual and that covers just about everything.

I love walking in nature, dancing, anything artistic. I love ideas but most of all I love it when people find their purpose, their passion and become alive.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite book is The Great Gatsby but love many of the old classics. Not Shades of Grey person. Favourite movie is Out of Africa. Don't go for action films or violence but there again, liked Pulp Fiction. Art house movies or anything that makes you think or moves you is generally good.

Comedies are fun but slapstick...no thanks.

I like to listen to different music or else I get bored.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to China looking for my first English teaching job aged 52 and I've been reinventing myself ever since.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning Spanish and would love to learn anything of practical value, anything creative or just exchange ideas about creating a better world.

I'm learning guitar also. I have done a little filming and editing work. I almost always end up swapping cooking ideas and recipes.

I am a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language so that could be handy!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, quality time, laughing and relaxing over food and drink. Alcohol not a necessity.
