About Me

ABOUT ME

I am sociable, open, dynamic, traveler. If there are problems, always try to find alternatives. I see life as a correspondence between what we give and receive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always have had a very good experience in couch surfing, as a guest or host.
When I arrived to Italy to work I decided to use couch surfing and I met there quite kind people who made me feel like at home. Later, when I visited Germany, I stayed in two warm and comfortably houses and I really spent a great time there. Same experience in England!

As a host, I've received American, German, Swedish and Italian nice persons who have become good friends after a while.

Interests

I love meeting new people and places. I love literature and I see in its letters the story of all of us. I'm a Spanish teacher and most of time I spend my time with foreign people, participating in language tandems. I like sports, music, meditation, discover new places and people there and I am strongly believe that there no boring lives, just boring souls.

Nowadays I am happy learning new skills, from knitting until working as a waiter and practicing old health habits, like reiki therapist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I restored an old house to turn it into an art gallery.

I lived the most exciting experience during the Summer Solstice in Stonehenge.

I helped some friends to interview Yusuf, in Algeciras. He's a Senegalese who described how he went in Spain as an immigrant 20 years ago and the hard moments he lived. I'll never forget its sensible vision about the current situation of Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

According to me, teaching and learning are constants in our lives and teaching is synonymous of sharing.

Technically, I can teach the skills that I've learn in my profession, in this case, learning a language, for ex.. I can show you the city as well. I think each person can show you what you can teach them and learn from them so… let's meet!

What I Can Share with Hosts

At the present, I can't receive guests to sleep at my house, but on the other hand I enjoy trying to help you if possible, so that I can have a meet up for a coffee, to show you the city, to be asked for a piece of advice o whatever you consider I can be useful.
